Wind Power African Forum

Sunday 27 March 2016

2nd Semester 2016

Regular and powerful winds sweep the rich geographic areas and reliefs of Africa which represent a significant energy source, including the use of new wind power production technologies.

In the hinterlands, the closest areas to and on the sea, wind power will contribute to the energy mix production close to consumption areas. New ocean front buildings shall also capture this huge resource for Africa.

With other sources of efficient renewable energies – for example the solar energy – the innovative promotion of wind energy capacity will allow the constructing of a specific “African mix” and will ensure the independence and energy security in Africa.Automatic word wrap
Around concrete projects desired by the countries, the WINDPOWER AFRICAN FORUM aims to bring together experts, key and innovative sector operators, as well as private and public funding to ensure their realization.
