Sunday 27 March 2016

African development is carried out largely on its ocean coasts. The Continent is naturally turned to its maritime resources and is fully aware of its potential and its challenges for the economy of the sea.

The evolution of ports, operating surface and in the depths of ocean space, fishing, processing and distribution of seafood products, aquaculture, submarine plant breeding, exploitation of mineral resources , fossil and renewable energy at sea, ... so many great drivers of growth and jobs, all key issues for the balanced economic development of the Continent respectful long-term marine ecosystems.

Around concrete projects desired by the Netherlands, the MARITIME ECONOMY AFRICAN FORUM aims to bring together experts, key, innovative sector operators and private and public funding to ensure their realization.
